How To Screenprint At Home: Printing 3 Colors On 1 Screen

Here is a very cool and fun video that should help out people who screenprint at home. Often time people starting out at home are limited to 1 color bench presses, hinge clamps or just a screen on a table so I thought it would be fun to demonstrate another method similar to the split fountain video I did previously. In this video we take the split fountain ide to a whole new level without mixing any inks on screen while printing.

Here is an educational video about screen printing tee shirts and other items that utilizes a simple technique which will allow you to print 3 different colors at the same time on one screen. This is a very cool home brew that is perfect for do it yourself enthusiasts and home printers limited to 1 color bench presses. You can use this method to step up your game and print more than 1 color using only 1 screen. You can use this process with bench presses, hinge clamps or even a screen on a table. The options on how to do it are unlimited and we encourage you to take the principle demonstrated in this video and experiment with it. You will discover that running 2 or 3 colors on 1 screen is fun and practical even on a multi-color press in certain situations. Use your imagination and push this to the limit! Since YouTube has basically destroyed the community and sold out to giant media corporations the rating system is heavily guarded by anti bot software and algorithms, we will now move to the comments for voting purposes. How To Screenprint: Screen & Ink Changes Production Run

Someone is remaking all of my best videos. I guess you do whatever it takes 😉 I mean I know ultimately there will be screen printing videos that are about the same material since it is industry specific. But it does look like a strategic play to place better on YouTube. It’s not all about the content anyway. It’s about the style. Well here is an actual production run which they can’t recreate. That’s the difference. I am a real screen printer helping other screen printers. I am not a part time screen printer turned salesman. Rather I think of myself somewhat like a screen printing Robin Hood…. LOL. I share all the secrets the other established printers won’t. Watch this little production run video and see how even a 1 color job can turn into a laborious task with ink changes and screens changes.

This production run screen printing educational video is a little different than some of our past production run videos. This time we focus on the ups and downs of screenprinting tee shirts. Here you will get a chance to get a good look at how Jonathan changes ink colors and screens on press during a single print run. How To Screen Print: Can The Sun Be Used To Expose Screens?

Okay so recently I have been getting a lot of questions regarding exposing screens using the sun. I thought it would be a good video for me to make and share with you my personal opinion and beliefs on this matter. There are people who use the sun to make oversized screens for graphic screenprinting. But for a textile screen printing beginner, is the sun a good way to make screens? Find out what I think about it.

This is another thorough educational video about screenprinting and making screens using the sun as your exposure light. Recently we have been bombarded with questions about this subject so we figured it was time to offer our opinion and take on this very debatable topic. Is the sun a good source of UV light for making screens? How long might the exposure take? Can you get off good detail? There seems to be some confusion with the facts about working with the sun to make screens for screen printing. It is actually a very huge variable so take a few minutes and watch this video as Jonathan shares his knowledge about emulsions, screen making and UV light. If you are considering using the sun to do screenprinting of any kind then this video will either help you in doing so or it will save you a lot of time and wasted materials. As we like to say around the Catspit shop, eliminate all variables. Doing that helps you print better, faster and get the best print results while you’re at it.

Paranormal Zombie Ghost Chases Man From Haunted House

Yup, I told you at the beginning of the year we’d be doing another bench press contest so I figured this time we could do a little something special for All Hallows Eve. The kit will be a Catspit Alley Cat press with screens, chemicals, emulsions, aerosols, squeegee, inks, basic exposure unit and more. I’ll make an official announcement video next week. Here are the details so you can begin to think about participating.

Technically we are not allowed to use the functionality of YouTube to determine a winner for any contest held on YouTube. This will be the last contest we hold on YouTube due to complicated legal issues that only a big corporation with money can pay to address. Please leave a comment if you like the video entry. The winner will be handpicked by Jonathan based on originality and comment activity.
