Screen Printing Supply Store Update Vlog: Get The Inside Scoop!

So here is the official first video form the new location. The storefront is getting there and I plan on moving the office over this week. Hopefully I will be up and running at about 90% next week. Then we have to bring in some more supplies like plastisol and water based inks and so on. This screenprinting video will walk you through my progress in getting things set up. Call For Music Video Submissions: Share Your Talent With Screen Printers

Music Video Submission Rules

We are looking to upload your finished, edited music video to our YouTube channel. If you have the ability to create or already have a polished music video for your group or band you may submit it to use for upload to the Catspit Productions YouTube channel. The video must be a finished product with high quality stereo audio. If you have any questions about what is acceptable, please contact us.

1) You must own all the copyrights to the music, lyrics, and video. All content must be original content and not previously copyrighted by any other musician. Any copyright infringements will be removed from the collection immediately. You may also include your groups contact and/or websites information as this information will be published in the video description on YouTube.

2) The video must be produced and edited. This means you have to shoot a music video and record the audio in a professional way. It does not mean you need to have a professionally produced video but we are looking for finished music video pieces. You and your band can do this yourselves but we are not looking for straight video clips of garage performances or other impromptu performances. However you may use live footage to create a music video with a stereo sound track. Please make sure the audio portion of the video is very high quality stereo sound. Please do not use poor mic to air recordings.

3) You must provide a copyright release in PDF format and a written script of the lyrics along with all musical credits for the creators/artists involved. Copyright documentation is needed prior to upload. No videos will be uploaded without a written PDF copyright permission document. We will allow YouTube to run ads on your music video to help promote the circulation of your music.

4) Not all submissions will be accepted. Your video will be reviewed and may or may not be approved for upload. Submitting a video does not guarantee your video will be used.

5) You must grant Catspit Productions complete copyright release for use of this video on YouTube. We will not use your video anywhere else online however your video will be embedding enabled. That means YouTube will allow a code to embed the video on other websites by anyone online. This allowance will help the circulation and exposure of your video.

6) These rules and requirements may be changed at any time without notice. Ultimately YouTube dictates what we can or cannot do with uploads and intellectual or artistic material.

7) Contact us if you have any questions before you make a video or submit one to us. We prefer MP4 files or Windows Media Audio/Video Files. Stereo recordings are a must and HD video is preferred. Contact me through YouTube for an emails address you can send your video to.

Learn How To Screen Print: Machine Bolts & Wooden Squeegee Handles

Here’s an educational screenprinting video about how to reuse your wooden squeegee handles with new squeegee blades. In this tutorial video I show you how to use the screws and bolts to secure the squeegee in the wood handle. I’m not exactly sure what these screw and bolts are called but I call them machine bolts. If you bring an image into the hardware store or describe them well you should be able to find these with some help. This video will show you how to use these screws with a drill and make all your wooden squeegee handles reusable.

Learn Screen Printing: The Sahara Screen Drying Box From Saati

This is a quick video look at the Sahara dry box from Saati. I know I have shown this before but it’s so cool I want one. This is a screen drying rack that is fully enclosed and self-contained. It has heat and ventilation features with controls. This is an awesome dry box that most textile screen printers might not necessarily need but it is fun to look at. This type of dry box would be critical for screen making where we need absolute exactitude and control over the screen and drying emulsion. You might find this type of equipment in industrial graphic printing. In some cases we work in clean room situations and actually measure the stencil for accuracy with special tools. Our goal is to build a screen printing wonderland for a hands on approach to teaching and offering screenprinting products. This is an educational screenprinting video about the new Elite Series II rotary screenprinting press from Ranar. This is a very quick look at the new print heads and other features the press has. This year aluminum pallets are standard with any Elite screen press purchase with no extra upgrade fee. Screenprinting T-Shirts: New Ranar LED Exposure Unit Teaser

Hey so I have the first ISS show video from the Ranar booth uploaded to YouTube. This is a short teaser style video for the new LED exposure unit. As we finalize the details and make some images for use on the web I will begin selling this unit on the CatspitScreenPrintSupply.com website. I am very excited to announce this product and have an opportunity to do video on the very first production model. Stay tuned for more great news and all the latest additions to our product line up!

This is an educational screenprinting video about the new high UV output LED exposure unit from Ranar. This unit is still a work in progress and will have some upgrade options. It will be available as an LED version of our standard XPO series exposure units but it will also have some high tech upgrade options available for the screen printer who wants some luxuries. First the unit will have a vacuum pump upgrade so instead of the blower type motor it will have an actual quiet vacuum pump. Also the digital timer will be upgradable to a full LCD panel with touch controls. Stay tuned as we feature this unit on our ecommerce site and in new screenprinting videos to come.
