So as you all may know I have been so very busy in the shop lately doing some print work to make up for some lost advertising revenue online. Amazingly enough it seems the rebuild of my website is taking effect and I am getting more calls for not only screen printing but for supplies as well. This is great news as it means the website is doing its job and that should help me to help you more. This past weekend I had to print a simple 1 color job for my friend Gary at Gary’s Automotive in Chandler, Arizona. He does all my auto repairs honestly and fairly. So when he asked me to do some sleeve printing I couldn’t say no. But there are a few things you need to consider before accepting long sleeve printing jobs. The text reads right rather than being vertical so you have to consider how you print each sleeve so that it does indeed read right. It’s the zombie effect as both arms are spread straight out forward of the walking dead. We’ll each sleeve would have the text read from left to right. It’s a fun video in which you get to see the results of an actual print job while seeing the set up as well. Silkscreen printing long sleeves can be trick but with a little thought you can do it.
