I thought it would be cool to share this photograph of me screenprinting in my brother’s garage shop when I was about 16 years old. This shop was in the garage of our house and you can see my brother standing next to me and my mother in the background. This is back in the days when we did things very old school and we even made our own screens with wood. Honestly, the screens we made were bad and I would’ve given anything for the metal screens that we have today….. lol.
This is just one photograph of a few that we talk of the garage shop and there is in fact a video slideshow on YouTube.com for you to enjoy. Check out the link below.
Here is the next video about my inexpensive line of high opacity plastisol screenprinting inks. I’m feeling a lot better since my ribs are starting to heal. I’m still little bruised and I am just weaning myself off of the sling from my shoulder surgery. Today is my 2nd day with my arm out of the sling for most of the day. My shoulder is feeling pretty good and I am continuing physical therapy of course. I still haven’t decided on what video to do next week so please stay tuned…
This is an inexpensive ink with high performance results. I’m carrying mostly gallons in different colors with quarts in select colors. I actually have to quart the ink myself and label them so I’m trying to offer as many colors in quarts as I can in Phoenix. Here’s the pricing for the economy standard black and white inks. As you can see the gallons are the best value since this ink is so competitively priced. This has excellent performance, great pricing and it’s thinner than most other plastisol inks. Try them today with a full money back satisfaction guarantee. I have 6 new videos about the phthalate free high opacity colors of this same plastisol ink. I decided to do a bonus shot in this video showing the ink printed with a one hit wonder AND a print/flash/print. I wanted to not only show how well the inks work but I wanted to prove you can print the same or more ink volumes without flashing. There is definitely a difference in the finished print surface but the opacity is pretty much the same. So now I have 2 sample shirts in the Phoenix storefront which you can come in and see in person in order to view the quality of my inexpensive plastisol ink line. And you can see in person the wicked amount of ink I can print with these thinner high opacity inks without flashing. Check out the video for our fast flash white below.
Don’t forget I offer FREE SHIPPING on screen printing equipment anywhere in the continental US and all crating or boxing fees are included in the pricing! PLUS no sales tax except in California. Enjoy the video and thanks for watching!

Here is another educational screenprinting video that was produced by Ranar at the factory in El Segundo California. This is a very short quick tips video that demonstrates how you can use your film positives to line up the screens on press. You can do this completely manually by hand without using the micro registration or you can use micro-registration if necessary. As you can see in this video made by Ranar, you can have registration marks on your film positives but you don’t necessarily need them with this method. As long as the artwork is easy enough for you to line everything up by eye simply looking at the artwork, then you’re good to go. In this simple design made by Ranar you can see that it would be very easy to line up without registration marks. When you create simple artwork with minimal registration, you can often line it up just by using the artwork itself. Other designs will be more complicated and you will need to use the registration marks on screen. I hope you enjoy this short tutorial video about screenprinting T-shirts. Thanks for watching.

I intended on uploading this video last week but since I had a minor setback with bruising my ribs I was unable to do so. My shoulder is healing very well and my progress should be fine with that. My ribs are also on the mend and I’m hoping by next week I should be pretty much back to normal. But in the meantime I figured it was time to upload this video about the high opacity red plastisol ink. I made this video before I actually had the shoulder surgery so I was looking pretty good…..lol. I only have about a week left in the sling for my arm and I’m looking forward to not having to wear that anymore. In the meantime I hope you enjoy this video about my line of plastisol inks.

Okay so I wanted to update everyone on what’s been happening in the past week. As many of you may know I had shoulder surgery about three weeks ago. That is all well and good and I am recovering just fine. However I had a small unfortunate accident about a week ago and I bruised my ribs on my right side. The bruising was so bad that I thought I may have had a fracture or even a break for several days. Finally the pain began to subside and I was able to start moving around again. So unbelievably I was back in bed last week for most of the week due to my bruised ribs. August is just not turning out to be my month. Obviously I was unable to post to social media and check on Instagram. If you left a comment for me on Instagram I most definitely missed that. Please remember that if your question is important you should e-mail me through one of my contact us forms on either of my websites. Please do not use Instagram for important questions. I do not have Instagram loaded on my cell phone, rather it is on my tablet and I do not check it religiously. Once again I apologize to anyone who experienced any inconvenience last week while I was recovering from my bruised ribs. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
Check out this old caricature that someone drew me many years ago. I cannot remember who did this and if you are that person please remind us and claim credit.
Screenprinting equipment and supplies, classes, training, shop rentals:
Okay so I tried to make a video post on Instagram today about the video I uploaded to YouTube yesterday. But I could not hold my tablet due to the recent shoulder surgery I had…..lol. Instead I posted this picture of the screens I mentioned in yesterday’s video. These are actually the screens that Nameless City Apparel artist Mike Wrigley created the artwork for. I made the screens before I had my shoulder surgery so they’re going to have to hang out a little while before I’ll get to them. But I was very pleased with the way the stencils came out. Now we just have to do a test print to see what the color looks like. Hopefully I’ll be able to do that this fall after my shoulder is better. But speaking of screens; don’t forget that I sell premade aluminum metal screens for screenprinting T-shirts. Check out all of my offerings on my e-commerce site.
Okay so do you want to see me make a YouTube video while on painkillers? Then just watch this boring video. Evidently painkillers aren’t as much fun as everybody says they are….. lol 😉
I just wanted to touch base with everyone through a short video this week. Many of you know that last week I underwent some shoulder surgery. Everything is going well and I am in the initial recovery stages. In this vlog I talk a little bit about the surgery and some of the upcoming screen printing videos in the works. I’m still washing my hair with one hand so I can’t do much with it and recently I decided to let it grow out. I figured I would try to grow it long one more time before I either go bald or die…. lol. I’m hoping to share a couple videos about my muscle car this fall or winter with you all. That was part of the reason for having the surgery so quickly and I explain some of that in the video. Check out this video and find out what are the plans for YouTube during the time I am in recovery as well as what videos I am still planning. Don’t worry; I’m not too goofy in this video I think because my shoulder is tiring me during the day.
