Here is another educational screenprinting video that was produced by Ranar at the factory in El Segundo California. This is a very short quick tips video that demonstrates how you can use your film positives to line up the screens on press. You can do this completely manually by hand without using the micro registration or you can use micro-registration if necessary. As you can see in this video made by Ranar, you can have registration marks on your film positives but you don’t necessarily need them with this method. As long as the artwork is easy enough for you to line everything up by eye simply looking at the artwork, then you’re good to go. In this simple design made by Ranar you can see that it would be very easy to line up without registration marks. When you create simple artwork with minimal registration, you can often line it up just by using the artwork itself.
