Check out this quick tips video about screen printing onto washed clothing or other fabrics. In this video we discuss a very commonly asked question and point out 2 very important issues you may encounter. This video is geared more for plastisol inks since they tend to sit on top of fabrics and curing is critical for the bonding to handle laundering. While many of you may have tried this with success, there are potential problems one could see occurring. You may have noticed magical things can happen when the laundered garment goes through the dryer. So if you have ever wondered about printing on a customers used, previously washed clothing, then check out this video for some information that could save you money and heartaches. Amazon.com DVD Scam Out Of Control!!

So if you buy DVD’s online you know they have region codes that prevent them from being played in certain countries. That’s all fine and dandy but beware that Amazon is allowing sellers to sell DVD’s in countries where they will not work. Sometimes there is a region code on the listing and other times there is not. Also you may find a listing with no region code specified and then when you contact the seller for a refund, the information suddenly appears. To me this is a major scam on the part of Amazon since an item that does not work in the USA should not be allowed to be sold in the USA. So buyers beware and never order from a seller named MovieMars. They will take your money and run.

So I’ll be sending my useless Evil Dead Trilogy I bought that does not work in the USA to my good friend Mike Wrigley since I know he might enjoy it. I have a tee shirt and a DVD set to send him now and we are just waiting to see if we can pull off a print of the artwork he created for a YouTube video.

Screenprinting T-Shirts: Increasing Print Resolution And Clarity On Press

Here’s another educational video about screenprinting tee shirts and other fabrics. This video discusses how to increase your print resolution while printing on press. It’s an extension of our last video about fibrillation. We all know that using a higher mesh count will produce a higher resolution stencil. But what about when you’re actually printing the shirts on the rotary textile screenprinting press? Then it comes down to a matter of technique and skill. In this tutorial video I show you some very basic tips on how to keep you print looking sharp, crisp and clear. Get the edges of your text nice and sharp with these simple yet fundamental tips. You’ll get to see a really flooded out print with fibrillation and then we’ll look at a much better print with little fibrillation and a sharp print. We did use an old test rag for this video so even the second print would look even better if we printed on brand new garments. So follow along as we take a look at some printing techniques and test prints for your viewing enjoyment and edification. Enjoy!
