This screen printing video is about a new product by Ranar for 2016. This is our brand new LED vacuum exposure unit with commercial grade professional features. It’s a 400 nanometer wavelength LED exposure unit with 90 degree directional LED’s. It has a quiet vacuum pump instead of the standard vacuum motor which is great for repeated exposures all day long in the shop. It has a programmable touch screen so you can make your own presets for exposures. Create a setting for yellow mesh or perhaps a particular emulsion. Maybe even specific jobs can be programed if you like. With a programed automatic vacuum dump and a manual releaser valve you can get your screen out in a jiffy and head straight to the washout booth. This will come complete with proofing lights, vacuum rope and a durable neoprene blanket. This screen printing equipment is built by screen printers, for screen printers. Made in the USA!

For beginners, startup operations, tight spaces or portable printing situations this mini infrared belt dryer may be a great solution for you. It’s from the makers of the first compact belt dryer ever produced. The small table top DX-100 is an entry level belt dryer perfect for home based business with limited space looking to speed up production from using a flash curing unit. This dryer is rated at 110 shirts per hour, black ink on white. The unit is 4 feet long with an 18 inch Teflon belt. It includes variable belt speed and variable temperature control standard. Traditional belt tracking adjustments and the heating panel may be raised or lowered.

This is a 120v industrial unit. It has an industrial 3 prong male plug for 20 amp breakers. In homes these 20 amp breakers are often found in the garage or kitchen. It is recommended and suggested that you run this on a dedicated 20 amp circuit breaker however it has been known to run effectively on a household 15 amp breaker when dedicated and relatively new. A converting cord may be made by an electrician or purchased online to convert the industrial 120v plug to a standard household plug.

Screenprinting Tee Shirts: Setting The Print Location Height With Your Pallets

Here’s a quick tips screenprinting video about how to set your pallet height for the print location on your shirts. Follow along as I show you how to “eyeball” the pallets to the shirts and set the pallet height. Some presses, like the Elite Series II that I sell, come with pallet arm rulers which can be very helpful in setting up your print job. In this video I show you the pallet arm rulers and how they help in this part of your set up but I also show you how to this manually simply by looking at each pallet while the screen is over head and pulled down slightly. If you have ever wondered about how to set the print height on all of your pallets for 4 or 6 color presses then this video is a must see. It’s short, informative and fun. You’ll learn everything you need to know in order to set print height on your manual rotary screen printing presses. Of course this will work for fixed single station presses as well. ISS January 2016 Comes To An End

I had a great time this year at ISS long Beach as usual. The Ranar booth was very busy and I met with more YouTube viewers and equipment customers than ever before. Thanks to everyone who came out to see me and say hello. I hope you all enjoy the Catspit shirts I gave out. It was a lot of fun giving the freebie shirts out this year since there was a video series on the shirt and art. A lot of people knew the artwork well and had already seen the entire video series. I’ll have some more pictures to share of course. I was very busy playing catch up today with unpacking and getting back into my routine.
