I can finally announce the new water based inks I am selling on the ecommerce site. I have the basic colors listed and I will add an athletic gold as well as metallic gold and silver. This video is a quick test focusing on the water solubility of this ecological ink. Follow along as I work with this ink on screen and do a couple of test prints. Then get and extreme close up look at the print on test rag shirts. Soon I will print some actual tee shirts with this ink and probably give some away. I’ll also do a wash test video and a drying time video if I can figure out how to do that best. I really like this water based ink. It’s very easy to work with and the long drying time makes it a low pressure situation. The usual techniques for working with water based ink are recommended. If you simply back flood you’ll probably never have an issue. I haven’t yet. I’m going to do some other quick and rough videos about the other colors as well. Stay tuned for some water based ink printing fun and games.
