Here’s a short video about a drive we took to the DriverMod Industries performance car meet in Tempe Arizona. This is a social gathering where car enthusiasts of all types come together to hang out and discuss cars. You’ll find a couple old American muscle cars, new high performance cars, and a lot of smaller engine imports with modifications like turbo and ground effects. You’ll also see modified Corvettes, newer Camaros and Mustangs. There’s also a small selection of exotic imports. This event has a much younger crowd than your usual American muscle car meet up but it’s well organized and very mellow. Everyone seems very respectful of each other and the cars. It’s peaceful, family friendly and you can tailgate a bit in that people hang out with coolers and lawn chairs. We took our 1979 Z-28 Camaro with the 406 Stroker this week and had a great time. Besides one other older low rider pickup, we had the oldest vehicle there. The video was taken at night so it’s not as sharp as it would be with full daylight but it’s a great look at this local Tempe, Arizona automotive meet.
