Here is a quick video showing you how to avoid having to buy an expensive cooling fan add on for the end of your belt dryer in the event you are experiencing difficulties with hot plastisol inks. For the most part this really should not be an issue if you’re using a decent plastisol screenprinting ink and not over heating it in the tunnel of the belt dryer. But sometimes people experience such hot ink at the end of the conveyor oven that when it falls into the catch basket the ink folds over on itself and sticks. So if the ink is very hot, glossy, sticky, and gooey or even has bubbles when it comes out of your belt dryer, you will probably want to watch this fun video. But be very sure if you use the DIY trick in this video that you are not blowing any air into the oven chamber at all. That could affect the cure and cause more problems than you want. Therefore, the trick here is to position the fan in such a way that it blows away from the oven chamber. Now see, this is why you should read the video descriptions.
