Screen Printing: Where To Find Products To Print

I can’t remember if I ever wrote a blog about this topic but if I did, It’s time for another one. Because of the YouTube channel and website I am often asked where I get the products I print whether it be tee shirts or other printable items. I must get asked this question at least 4 to 5 times each week. I may be able to help out with how to screen print or where to get your equipment and supplies but when it comes to sourcing products, it’s all you baby!

Just think about it for a moment and try to imagine what would happen to my business if I shared my personal product sources with the entire internet. Fist off my customers would probably get wind of this and soon learn about how much I pay for the products I sell them. Secondly giving my personal sources out to anyone and everyone weakens the value of the product source for me as a screen printer and a business. This would mean that the products I research and source will be available to anyone without even doing a Google search. This really does not make any sense at all in a business aspect not to mention I would be working on building my vendors businesses without so much as a thank you. Therefore it is my personal policy not to divulge sources for products that I print here in my own shop. I’ll tell you where to get anything you need to screen print but I cannot tell you where to get items to print.

Many of my sources are local to my area and as a general rule of thumb it is a good idea to source products as close to you as possible. This will minimize the cost of the product by eliminating or reducing shipping charges. Shipping fees can be a big problem for printers as it can raise the price of a printed product substantially. So whenever possible, find a product dealer in your neighborhood or at the very least find the closest one to you. The internet is a very powerful tool and if you combine it with the telephone, you should be able to find what you need with a little research.

I can help out with Equipment Sales or Print Supplies. I’ll even go out of my way to help you find the tools and supplies you need to screen print whether or not I get anything out of it. And I am more than happy to teach you as much as I can about how to screen print different items. But I have to keep some things to myself. I already have enough screen printers out there who dislike me for what I am doing now….LOL.
